  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 250 g cheese (grated, preferably hard or semi-hard)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 g butter or lard
  • 42 g fresh yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg

Instructions

Preparation

Prepare the yeast starter and let it rise.

Mix all the ingredients and knead into a smooth dough.

Let the dough rise until it doubles in size.

Roll out, fold, and rest the dough as described.

Cut out small circles and place them on a baking sheet.

Brush with egg, optionally sprinkle with cheese, and bake until golden.
